It starts with butchs army occupying Tom's house and burning it stealing his food, and Toms army occupying the Trash can, but also the Food factory and some tickets to a football game. Their rivalry escalates, and then, they declare war. When Butch tells the "Fish Mouth" that he has an Army, Tom does the same thing, Steals Lightning, gets some others and starts "Tom Cat's Army" They all say Butch, and later he asks he and the rest of the Cats can start a Cat Army, they all agree. The next day, Tom gets mad at Butch and then, Butch gets mad at Tom, they both call each other names and fights, Butch walks out of the picture and goes to the alley, and says who's better, him, or Tom. Tom fails to get Toodle's affection again, and she prefers Butch more than Tom. Tom Cat giving flowers to Toodles and Butch Cat serenades Dollface and the episode ends. When Butch Cat sees Dollface, a lavender Persian cat, he flirts with her and Tom Cat and Butch Cat say ''Violence solves nothing!''. (A slideshow featuring Tom Cat and Butch Cat when they were kittens.) When Butch tells says"I hate you, you little chicken!" to Toodles, she hits Butch for name-calling. They all say ''Tom''!, and later he asks he and the rest of the cats can start a cat army, they all agree. The next day, Butch gets mad at Tom and then, Tom gets mad at Butch, they both call each other names and fights, Butch walks out of the picture and goes to the alley, and says who's better, him, or Tom.
